Sharing Web Resources
After waiting several weeks, I received an email from one of the persons I had sent an email too. He suggested I try this website to get the answers I may be looking for. The site is www.Worldbank.org. Inside the education site, I found the following sections that were relevant to our discussion this week. They are Economics of Education and the Science, Technology & Innovation.
Education is universally recognized as one of the most fundamental building blocks for human development and poverty reduction. It is key to attaining the Millennium Development Goals (web.worldbank.org). This is such a powerful statement, but so very true.
By going to the the different sections, we are able to get other information on why it is so important that our economics, neuroscientists and politicians come together and do their part in giving the support that is need to give the child the quality development  he should receive. The issues and trends are just as many in other countries as they are her in the US. The difference I see is that they have better support group there. They take the issues more seriously than we do.

  1. Sandra,

Did your contact give you any specifics that you were asking about? I have been unable to make any contact whatsoever, but I am hopeful someone will email me back.

I will use this website, as well. Thank you for posting it.

    Blessings,
    Susan
